Some time in the sun. Start.

The first sunrise of 2024. Seoul, Korea.

From a McDonald’s in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where the AC is pumping, the Coke is accurately carbonated, and the afternoon burns on around 38C/100F, I’m getting around to that blog idea I’ve been meaning to give meaning to for years.

The running joke in my family is that when I take out my camera to take pictures, no one will ever see them. It’s a joke that’s based on fact. (But I did share those images from our last family reunion so that’s progress.)

There’s definitely a lot more of those hidden, never shared images lounging in darkness on my hard drives. Here’s a run at giving them, as well as new photos and new adventures, a little time in the sun.

I just hope they put on their sunscreen first.
